Monsoon would dominate in this category over some opponents… but not Whiplash. Again it was doing the stuff Claw Viper did before Claw Viper made people take this approach to warfare (even one as extreme as this) even more seriously than they already did. On the plus side, as a fragile speedster that relies on that quickness for the aggression & control that won it many battles, Whiplash definitely has the edge here. And against the massive disc of Monsoon, it’s really gonna feel it, maybe all the way to the next match. Even so, when powerful enemies get past its front, Whiplash really does get shredded badly. It isn’t as weak as most examples, it has withstood a decent amount of punishment, & it has a well-armored front, much like how SawBlaze set almost all of its defenses on the face, while their driving prevents the enemy from seeing & running into anything but their face. Whiplash is known to be a fragile speedster. However, Whiplash’s lifter has more reach, it is no slouch in the ground game, & it is by keeping a firm grip on the enemy, dictating the flow of the battle, that Whiplash wins. ![]() Monsoon has sharp forks that can convincingly aid it when it comes to the ground game. Whiplash made such a tactic cool & dominant in its 2018 debut, years before the new & improved Claw Viper made it cooler. Monsoon has great aggressive capabilities, but Whiplash is known to stick to opponents relentlessly, giving them even less time to retreat & recover. vs Bronco, Texas Twister, Lock-Jaw), Monsoon is more dedicated to the win by brutal knockout, especially now that it brought out its 21-kg disc for the first time, to dish out heavy pain at 200 miles per hour. While its spinner has done decent damage before (e.g. Whiplash is always more of a lifter than a spinner. ![]() Since I love both bots, I feel like, regardless of the outcome, I’ll feel both the joy of victory & the melancholy of loss in this one anyway.
